Student Success Stores is volunteer-led by a strong group of leaders. We are a mix of educators, corporate associates, and non-profit sector contributors who are all working to help students succeed.

 
 

Executive Board Members

Neethi Johnson, President

Neethi Johnson is a VP of Digital Strategy at JP Morgan Chase. She is a double graduate of The Ohio State University, most recently receiving her MBA from the Fisher College of Business. Prior to business school, Neethi worked as Director of Business Development for Access Ohio, Ohio’s largest independently-owned mental and behavioral healthcare agency. She truly believes in the mission of Student Success Stores, providing access to essentials for students, making sure they are confident and ready to learn.

Jared Buerger, Vice President

Jared Buerger is a Nonprofit Professional who is dedicated to serving underserved youth across the State of Ohio. Born and raised in Kenton, Ohio, Jared moved to Columbus to study education at The Ohio State University where he obtained his degree in Early & Middle Childhood studies. He has worked for various nonprofit organizations that specialize in serving underserved youth in our community including Ethiopian Tewahedo Social Services, Children’s Hunger Alliance, and A Kid Again, where he is currently employed.

Nicole Hebert-Ford, Operations Chair & Co-Founder

Nicole taught 7th Grade Science at a Title 1 school in Phoenix, Arizona through Teach For America, an AmeriCorps program, where she earned her Master's Degree in Secondary Education from Arizona State University. After six years of teaching 7th Grade Science at Hannah Ashton Middle School in Reynoldsburg City Schools, Nicole is getting her master’s in School Counseling.

KEELYN GREEN, TREASURER

Keelyn Green is a Senior Consultant in Personal Lines Finance at Nationwide Insurance. She has a Bachelor's in Finance and MBA from The Ohio State University. Prior to receiving her MBA, Keelyn worked in various consulting and corporate finance roles. She is very excited to be a part of the Student Success Stores board and believes in the postive impact that can be made with the ability to focus on education.

DeAnna Romine, Secretary

DeAnna Romine a long-time resident of Columbus, received her Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Franklin University and MBA from Ohio Dominican University.  She has spent most of her career in Human Resources and is currently a Human Resources (HR) Operations Manager at PNC National Bank.  As an HR Operation Manager, her responsibility is to ensure administrative tasks are completed both accurately and efficiently. She is excited for the opportunity to serve on Student Success Store board as she believes in the importance of students to have what they need, so they can focus on school and their future. 

Clare Woods, Marketing chair

Clare Woods is an Advertising Account Executive at local marketing agency, Third Street Digital. In this role she creates measurable digital strategies for local and regional businesses. Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, Clare graduated from Cedarville University with a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communications. When Clare is not creating or analyzing campaigns, you can find her adventuring with her rescue pups or trying a new recipe in the kitchen. Clare is excited to join the Student Success Stores board as she believes that equipping students with the basic necessities to learn has the ability to impact not only the lives of students, but also the future of our community.

Karina Ribeiro, Human Resources Chair

For six years, Karina worked for Doctors Without Borders in different Human Resources roles. She had the opportunity to work in different countries such as Brazil, where she is originally from, Haiti and Chad, seeking to improve HR practices and implement strategic and professional HR frameworks. Karina has an MBA from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV-Rio) and a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, from The Ohio State University. As a first-generation college student Karina believes in the power of education to change lives. Currently, Karina works as an HR Business Partner at Microsoft.

Delilah Nuñez, legal chair

is an attorney who specializes in family law and serves as a guardian ad litem, mediator, and parenting coordinator. She has been featured on ABC6-TV’s “Ask the Attorney Panel” and was featured on NBC4 for her testimony before the Ohio Criminal Justice Committee. Delilah holds a Bachelor of Science in Legal Communication from Ohio University and a Juris Doctorate with a concentration in Family Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution from Capital University Law School.
